The LAOWA 100mm f/2.8 2:1 Ultra Macro APO lens is currently* the only 100mm lens with a stepless macro adjustment range up to 2x magnification. Its design and size correspond to other macro lenses, which can only be adjusted up to a scale of 1:1.
The 12 lens elements in 10 groups and the apochromatic correction (APO) ensure the highest imaging performance with the lowest chromatic aberration. There are no color fringes and the image is razor-sharp, from close to infinity. Furthermore, the circularly closing aperture f/2.8 - f/22 ensures wonderfully soft bokeh.
With a 100mm focal length, crystal clear sharpness and beautiful bokeh, this lens is not only an excellent 2:1 macro lens that can focus up to 25cm, but also the ideal portrait lens.
Two aspherical lenses and three extremely low dispersion lenses reduce both chromatic aberration and optical distortion to an absolute minimum. This design also ensures excellent sharpness right into the corners of the image.
The focus is adjusted manually, as is the aperture setting. Delivery including MC UV filter 67mm, sun visor.
