With an angle of view of 84° to 122° and small dimensions, the lens is ideal for travel and very useful for a wide variety of situations and applications. From shots in tight spaces to classic landscape shots, a lot is possible.
The light intensity of f/5.6 enables a very compact design and makes the LAOWA 12-24mm f/5.6 zoom the ideal and lightweight holiday companion.
In the robust metal housing, 15 elements in 11 groups ensure excellent imaging performance. 3 of these elements are extra-low dispersion glass and 2 are ultra-high refraction lenses. The 5 aperture blades produce a very clear 10-ray sun star.
The front lens is coated with the water and dust-repellent "Frog Eye Coating" (FEC). It gives your lens an additional layer of protection compared to conventional coatings.
The minimum focusing distance of just 15cm (measured from the sensor) is the shortest in the range of 12-24mm lenses. This enables interesting perspectives with a striking foreground.
Screw-on filters with a 77mm thread can be used on the lens hood. The lens is relatively light in its class at around 497g.
Focusing and aperture adjustment are done manually.
