LAOWA 15mm f/2.0 Zero-D for Canon RF
The LAOWA 15mm f/2.0 Zero-D is one of the fastest and most distortion-free super wide-angle lenses for full-frame cameras on the market. Thanks to the huge angle of view of 110° and the extremely high light intensity of f/2.0, it is just as suitable for landscape photos even at dusk and for available-light photography as it is for astrophotography. With the short minimum focusing distance of 15cm, this lens also offers photographers the option of sharply depicting objects up close. All this with beautiful bokeh and excellent sharpness and contrast.
The optical construction of the lens consists of 12 elements in 9 groups, including 2 aspherical elements and 3 elements with extra low dispersion. The patented optical design successfully minimizes distortion and chromatic aberration while delivering excellent optical performance right into the corners of the image.
Many lenses with a similar focal length cannot accommodate screw-in filters due to their dome-shaped front lens - but not the LAOWA 15mm f/2.0 Zero-D. 72mm screw-in filters with a slim design can be inserted into the filter thread without vignetting. So no extra filter holder is needed.
Thanks to the very practical aperture switch, you can switch between a continuous and locking aperture - particularly useful for videographers. The aperture and focus are set manually.
